Overtown is changing--but not always in ways that benefit the people who already live there. As Miami continues to grow, the question becomes: how do we build the future without displacing the community?

We're raising funds to advance the development of the Overtown Vertical Living & Food Hub concept--a community-focused initiative that brings together workforce housing, urban agriculture, and economic opportunity into one integrated system.

These funds will support the next phase of progress, including building a physical prototype of the vertical farming system, refining the design, and creating detailed materials to present the concept to stakeholders and the City of Miami. This stage is critical in transforming the idea from a vision into something tangible that can be demonstrated, evaluated, and moved forward toward real-world implementation.
